Maybe you have some precious photos that mean a lot to you. You would hate for anything to happen to them, but you don’t know or perhaps have never considered the best way to look after them.

This week, I want to share with you four key tips to ensure your treasured portraits look as good in 50 years’ time as they do today. Photographs aren’t just for the here and now. They become even more precious as time passes and people change.

1. FRAMING
The highest form of protection you can give a photograph is to have it professionally framed. A frame protects your photo from dust, fly spots, fingerprints, and humidity, all of which can cause it to degrade over time.
