It’s school ball season already – can you believe it? One minute they’re in hoodies and sneakers, and the next they’re dressed to the nines, heading out the door looking like a real adult. It’s such a proud moment, and maybe you get a little teary seeing them all grown up. These are the moments that it hits you – just how fast everything’s changing.
Before we know it, they’ll be deep into exams, and then the big stuff starts – uni, travel, and moving out. Whatever’s next for them, it’s a huge shift. And while they’re counting down the days to freedom, we’re over here quietly counting down the days until the house feels a bit quieter, almost empty. It’s a lot to take in.
