What do you do when a loved one gives you an amazing gift voucher for a photoshoot? You make the most of it, of course!

Meet Jeannie and Phil. Jeannie had just got her moko kauae, and they were celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary. We had the absolute joy of capturing portraits that were full of personality; just for them.

Of course, we got those gorgeous, smile-filled shots with them both in their wedding outfits, celebrating their love and the life they’ve built together. But we also got to try something different. Feathers and lace, skulls and tattoos, contrasty black-and-whites, and powerful, unforgettable stares. Bold, fun, and full of personality; images that celebrate them and their connection.
