Julia and Ryan

This sophisticated couple, Julia and Ryan, were such a joy to photograph. Engaged and armed with a gift voucher to create something beautiful with us, we chatted at their in-person consultation about the style of images they wanted.

Being a relaxed and easy-going couple, they wanted to capture something informal to share with family, something classy and dressed up, and then, just to make it uniquely them, they mentioned they both love air-soft and asked if they could bring in their gear to create something personal that celebrates the hobby they share.

Of course, we said yes! And oh, what fun it was. This sneak peek is just the tip of the iceberg from their incredible session, something black and white, James Bond–esque, and full of drama and mood. It was truly a joy to work with these two and capture the many sides of who they are and what sparks their joy.
